New Events page — the club's diary in one place. Roll-ups, coaching, work parties, socials and green closures sit in a single agenda grouped by day. Available to Admins, Club Admins and the new Event Manager role
Events hold green time. An event takes the rinks it needs, so it appears on the rink grid and nobody can book over it. An event can also be marked permeable — an open roll-up that is happy to share the green with a club match
Green closures. Close a green for weather, maintenance or the winter, and every member booking it displaces is cancelled with the reason attached — so the member sees why their rink went away rather than finding it silently gone. Lifting a closure is one action
Repeating events. A weekly roll-up or a monthly work party is set up once with a start and an end date, and every occurrence is created up front — so a single Monday can be moved or cancelled without disturbing the rest. Edit or delete just that one, or all the ones still to come
Rosters. An event can gather names three ways: assigned by a manager, opened for sign-up, or simply open to everyone. A sign-up can carry a limit and its own opening and closing dates, so a December dinner can start collecting names in October
Sign up from the home page. An "Open for sign-up" pane sits above the calendar and joining takes two taps with no dialog — the button becomes Confirm in place
A rota can be shared as an image, the same way a match card can — always the whole series rather than a single date
Multiple greens. A club can now name more than one green and say which rinks sit on each, in Club Settings. Rink numbers run on across the greens rather than restarting, so rink 7 is always rink 7
Rink Bookings gains a green picker in the header — buttons where there is room for them, a dropdown where there is not
A match day can name the green it is played on. Match sheets then read "Home (North)" for a home fixture away from the club's main green; a single-green club sees no change
Club Settings rebuilt, with the greens editor and its rink runs alongside the club's other details
Next up for you now merges the rinks you booked yourself with the fixtures you are picked for, in one list in date order, and names the people you are on with — "Also on the rota: Bill, Jeri and Joe"
Home gains a day timeline showing what is on across the club, and each green in the rink pane is now its own link — clicking one takes you to that green rather than whichever you looked at last
Rink Bookings: an event now draws its own card instead of an empty fixture card with "Rinks 1–6" in the footer. Only a closure draws a band across the whole green
Rink Bookings: a booking names its booker from the club roster, so a rename follows through and an account invited without a name no longer reads "Booked by User"
Fixed: rink bookings could be read and changed across clubs by editing the address bar. Every request is now checked against the club you belong to
Fixed: Player Maintenance could list the club's panels among its players, named after the panel
v1.6.2August 2026
Pinch-zoom now works on every page. Zoom had been switched off app-wide, so text could not be enlarged — pinch to magnify any screen that is hard to read
New away icon — a car with the team aboard — now sized to sit level with the home icon. The old one was drawn small inside its frame, so it appeared shrunken on the home page
Match day cards show the venue name beneath its icon rather than beside it, so longer green names get the full width instead of squeezing the card
Rink count now reads as a number in a ring, matching the clock beside it
The shared match image drops its players-and-rinks row — the line-ups underneath already say both
Rink Bookings: booking a rink now uses one form at every size, sliding up over the green instead of the old side panel and phone dialog. Duration is a picker in quarter-hour steps rather than two typed boxes
Rink Bookings: a match spread over several rinks now draws one card across them all, labelled with its rink range, instead of repeating the same card in every column
Rink Bookings: block names sit at the top edge where the booking starts and times at the bottom, so a block's height reads as its length
Rink Bookings: a manually booked rink now shows who booked it in the card header, with whatever they typed as the description beneath — so the booker is always named rather than left to a free-text note
Rink Bookings: a scheduled match now shows its line-up on the card where there is room, one column per rink sitting under that rink's own column. Interclub fixtures list our players; club competitions show the two skips
v1.6.1August 2026
Archive and Delete no longer sit on every card waiting to be tapped by mistake. Competitions, Match Schedule and Match Day now carry a Fix list button beside the menu, with separate 'Allow archive' and 'Allow delete' switches
Turn on either switch and archived items appear, greyed, each with a Restore button — so anything archived by accident can be brought straight back, and with Allow archive on its own last season's competitions can be browsed without a delete button in sight
Delete only ever appears on something already archived, so a permanent delete always takes archiving first
Both switches are off again every time you open the page, and destructive buttons now ask for a second tap on the button itself instead of throwing up a dialog
Fixed: a team whose match was archived and set up again could show as still to play, however the real game finished
v1.6.0August 2026
Scheduled home matches now hold their rinks. A match on the calendar reserves the green it needs, so nobody can book over it by mistake
Choose the rinks when you set up a match day — free rinks are offered, taken ones are shown with what is holding them, and you can change them later by editing the match day
Book a Rink and the home page now show everything on the green together: member bookings alongside scheduled matches
New Member Roles page for club admins — see at a glance who runs the club, and grant or withdraw a role in one tap
A tidier menu — Preferences is now its own page, holding Sharing Preview, Scoring and a new Knockout View setting, all remembered per device
Refresh has moved out of the menu and onto the home screen as a button beside the menu, so clearing stale data is one tap instead of three
Admins and club admins now get a Profile entry of their own, alongside the club-wide player list in Club Admin
About now lives on the Help page rather than taking up a menu slot
v1.5.10July 2026
Share a league table: every Standings card now has a Share button that builds a clean image — your club's position, form (Won/Drawn/Lost), matches played and points, followed by the full table with your rows highlighted — ready to send or save
The shared table sizes its columns to fit, so longer headings like "Total Shots" read in full
On phones, the Won/Lost/Drew result stamp now sits a little lower on the match-day card so it no longer clashes with the venue and time icons
v1.5.9June 2026
Points Systems: club admins can build how match points are awarded (rinks, aggregate shots, overall result) under Club Admin → Points Systems, and assign one to a competition — competitions start on "None" until you choose
Completed match days now show the result as a stamp on the match-day card — Won, Lost or Drew with the points
The interclub match card now fills in the Points row when the competition uses a points system
Sharing a completed match day now adds the shots to the message, e.g. "Greystones 25 shots, Bettystown 56 shots"
Away match days now show the venue name beside the away icon instead of just "Away"
v1.5.8June 2026
New Reports section in the menu — a home for everything you'd want to look back on
My Appearances: see your own match history, grouped by competition, as a colour-coded form strip — green for games won, red for lost
Match Managers and admins also get a club-wide Appearances view, showing how many matches each player has played
The admin pages (Players, Member Invites, Standings Setup, Club Settings) now live together under a single Club Admin entry, tidying up the menu
v1.5.7June 2026
Sharing now offers an in-app preview — turn on Sharing Preview to see exactly what you'll send and share, save or cancel right from there
New Preferences section in the menu: switch Sharing Preview on or off, and choose your Scoring input — Numpad or Slider
v1.5.6June 2026
New Standings page: your club admin can pull in published league tables from Google Sheets and they appear, neatly formatted, with your club's rows highlighted
Each table shows a position with medals for the top three, a Running/Finished badge, and an optional bar graph of total points
Tap "View full sheet" to open the source spreadsheet, pin the tables you follow to keep them at the top, and use Refresh to pull the latest figures
A Standings entry appears in the menu automatically once your club has set one up (Club Settings → Standings Setup)
Made team sharing more intuitive
v1.5.5June 2026
New match: Start Time and Rink now come pre-filled — the match day's scheduled start, and the next free rink — so you only adjust when you need to (both stay fully editable)
Rink Bookings: renamed from "Book Rink" across the menu and page
Rink Bookings: the day arrows now reliably move one day back or forward
v1.5.4June 2026
Quick Score: switch the whole day between Final and Ends views with one toggle, with compact summary cards in Final and full-width scoring in Ends
Quick Score: faster end-by-end entry — type the scoring side and it auto-fills the other team and jumps to the next end
Quick Score now saves automatically — no more Save button; edits persist as you go
Quick Score: mark a match Complete to lock in its result
Quick Score: refreshed scoreboard styling, consistent with the live match view
Match day: the Complete control is now a toggle, matching the rest of the app
v1.5.3June 2026
Smart name search ("Joe B" finds "Joe Bloggs") now also works when picking players for singles matches
Team setup: one search box now filters your panel and all club players together, with the same smart name matching
Team setup now saves automatically — no more Save button; edits persist as you go and the back arrow returns you to the match day
v1.5.2June 2026
Panel now saves automatically — no more Save button; just edit and go back
Panel captain sits beside the player list, so more players are visible at once
Panel player search now matches first name + surname initial, e.g. "Joe B" finds "Joe Bloggs"
v1.5.1June 2026
Search on the competitions page — filter by name, type, or format, with a live count of results
Home page calendar — tap any day to see that day's league rink bookings
Club data export (partial) — admins can generate PDF and CSV reports for players, competitions, and matches from the club settings page
v1.5June 2026
Knockout competitions — pool entry management, bracket draw, auto-advance, and live bracket view
Forgot password — password reset flow on the sign-in screen
